TECHSHIFT LIMITED (trading as ‘SAFEPOINT’) is an authorised reseller of the Safe Distancing Assistant device and accessories manufactured by or for Pathfindr Ltd.

Subject to the below conditions and exclusions, Pathfindr Ltd (“Pathfindr”) warrants the Product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal and personal use by the original end user/customer (“You”): (i) the Safe Distancing Assistant (“Safe Distancing Assistant”) for a period of 12 (twelve) months from the date of the original retail purchase; this does not include the accessories that are shipped with the Safe Distancing Assistant. The Safe Distancing Assistant is referred to as “Product.” Make sure to keep Your original proof of purchase since You will NOT be able to receive any warranty service if such proof is not provided.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN ADDITION TO ALL OTHER RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE UNDER CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS AND REGULATIONS IN YOUR COUNTRY OF PURCHASE OR RESIDENCE.

What this limited warranty covers and whom it applies to:

  • This warranty extends only to You, (the original end user purchaser/owner of the Product) and it is not transferable;

  • This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship during personal and noncommercial use of the Product;

  • This warranty applies to new products that are manufactured by or for Pathfindr and which are purchased from Pathfindr or its authorized resellers or distributors;

  • Warranty claims can only be made in the country of purchase;

  • If You make a valid warranty claim, Pathfindr will, at its sole option and discretion, (i) repair the Product using new or reconditioned parts, (ii) replace the Product with a new or refurbished Product; or (iii) refund the purchase price. All replaced or refunded products will be the property of Techshift Limited.

What this warranty DOES NOT cover:

  • Damage to the Product due to misuse or abuse;

  • Use of the Product for commercial purposes;

  • Damage due to a broken or misplaced battery seal;

  • Products that have been tampered with;

  • Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, cracks or discoloration;

  • Software;

  • Batteries or any protective coatings that naturally deteriorates over time;

  • Damages caused by: (i) use of the Product outside of its intended use or specification; (ii) improper storage; (iii) contact with liquids other than water; (iv) high temperature; (v)events beyond the reasonable control of Pathfindr such as floods, earthquake, fire, tornado, etc.; (vi) normal wear and tear; (vii) servicing of the Product by anyone other than Pathfindr or authorised Pathfindr service centers.

  • A Product that has been modified in any manner without the prior authorization from Pathfindr, including duplicated or altered serial numbers, altered labels, broken seals or other evidence of tampering.

How do I report a fault with my Product or issue a warranty claim?

Please accept our apologies if you believe there is a fault with your item, we take all complaints regarding the quality of our Products seriously and we will need to investigate the reported fault in more detail. In order to do this we ask that you contact us by emailing support@safepointapp.com. Please provide details of the fault and where possible attach pictures to your message.
