Today Safepoint are announcing a major new release. Safepoint’s wearable panic alarms are small wearable devices that allow users to send emergency alerts with just a single tap.

A Great Addition

The small but durable device connects with the award-winning Safepoint platform to make it even more powerful. You can find it on our new Safepoint Store.

Previously, Safepoint users could trigger an alert in two ways: either by timing out of a task or by hitting the emergency button within the app.

With the addition of our new wearable devices, not only do users have an easy and discreet way of manually requesting help, but it can also detect if the user has had a dangerous fall (sometimes called a ‘man-down’ function).

Designed around you

Safepoint is designed to be as user-friendly as possible, but sometimes a worker just can’t get to their phone in an emergency situation.

We were particularly concerned about people, such as care workers and estate agents, who have to deal with the public on a one-on-one basis, and may not want to use their phone when feeling threatened.

That’s why the panic alarm is designed to be inconspicuous and comes with accessories that make it easier to take with you, wherever you go. You can also set it to ‘silent mode’ which means it will not beep or flash, but will otherwise work completely normally.

Available Now

Safepoint’s new panic alarms are available now at our brand-new store. There you can find all the features and specifications, and order as many as your team needs.

Our community has been asking for a hardware solution for a while and we can’t wait to hear your opinion on it. This represents a major new step in keeping workers safe, no matter where they are or what they do.
